Alex was born in Grand Rapids, MI but moved to San Diego at the age of 4. Alex excelled at math while in school and discovered his talent in accounting while at San Diego State University. Alex began working as a bookkeeper at Sixth Ave Bistro and continued to advance his career to becoming the accounting manager at Ariel Premium Supply in 2018 before joining the Rise & Shine team in 2024.

In his free time Alex loves playing basketball and spent 10 years as a high school coach. Alex also loves spending time with his three children.
